Dear Dr. O.:

It is with great joy that I write this report. The Lord is good, all the time. There is not one need he has not met for the children and the members of the staff, including me. There is no better way than to trust him at all times.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

The most awesome part is that the children are being raised with this kind of faith. It was Ruben's Birthday and they had prepared a special dinner on his honor, he had a gift waiting to be unwrapped, and he expressed out loud, "I only need a cake." There was a knock at the door; it was the baker, every other week he delivers bread from the bakery. Ruben shouted with such joy: "My cake has arrived, thank you Jesus." The gentleman looked at him and went back to the car and brought a marvelous cake to Elizabeth's surprise. She thinks that cake was not going to be delivered at CECAVI, the Lord decided otherwise. Harvest Time International is a private, international, not-for-profit, Christ-centered, Bible believing organization. The organization acts on behalf of the community of ministers, pastors, preachers and lay ministers to plan and provide educational programs and missionary activities in the United States and abroad. In addition, HTI will work toward the development of a Christ-centered, bible based school where members of the faith community may develop their skills in teaching, preaching and evangelizing.

Mission Statement

Harvest Time International is a non-denominational Christian Evangelistic Missionary Organization reaching out to churches across the U.S., Africa and other countries in an effort to evangelize and implement an effective Bible teaching program and develop, facilitate and maintain a missions bridge between foreign lands and United States. Harvest Time International will accomplish this through: Partnership relations, exchange programs, use and or supply of Christian literature and teaching manuals.

Objectives

The objective of Harvest Time International is to solicit, receive and administer funds and purchase and own properties in order to conduct programs and train leaders and Laity in the Word of God.

Membership Requirements

An application must be filled out and submitted with a fee of $100.00, two (2) credible references must be submitted and the pastor of the local Assembly must approve where applicable. Annual dues are $360.00.

Accomplishments

    • Open bank account at Barclay Bank in Ghana, West Africa.
    • Purchased and sent computer and supplies to Africa for the Harvest Time Team.
    • Four conferences - 1998 in Tokoradi and Kumasi, West Africa; 2000 and 2002 in Kumasi, West Africa and August 2004 in Accra at the Calvary Baptist Church and in Kumasi at Grace Baptist Church.
    • Network with public school system in the Ashanti region to help facilitate needed materials.
    • Established a committee in Africa (Harvest Time International- Ghana).
    • Gave financial support to Ambassadors for Christ who have a ministry in Kenya, East Africa.
    • Sponsored trip to America for Evangelist Martin Osei-Buabeng. Chairman of Harvest Time International in Africa. He stayed with us from July 3-21, 2003.
    • A team of 16 led by Dr. Odessa McNeill journeyed to Ghana and distributed $50,000 worth of hospital supplies and equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, canes, air mattresses, diapers, and toiletries) to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
    • Helped a deprived village (Nyamebekyere) by donating tooth paste, deodorant, soap, clothes, mouth wash, notebooks, mathematical kits, reading books and Christian literature and dictionaries.
    • Agreed to help build a new school - to be discussed further in 2006.
    • National Conferences were held in 2004, 2005 by Martin Osei Buabeng (chairperson in Ghana) for the purpose of supplying info to the people who could not attend the International Conference. These meetings were held in Obuasi, Akosombo and Somanya.
    • Sponsored several AIDS/HIV workshops for various groups here in the USA.
    • 2008 refurbished office in Kumasi established in 2004.

Organization Aim

    • To help the churches in foreign lands and the United States evangelize and reach out to lost souls.
    • To promote effective methods of teaching and studying the Bible.
    • To equip Pastors, church leaders and other categories of Christian Workers through the promotion of conferences and teaching seminars, pastoral care, church administration, evangelism and concise application and interpretation of scripture.
    • To assist churches with their programs, including the supply of materials and literature.
    • To develop a permanent missions bridge between the churches in foreign lands and the United States through the partnership relations and exchange programs.
